One of the crucial tasks for a network administrator is to monitor the network performance of each device connected to the network. For checking the network performance, there is a conventional utility used by almost all network administrator dubbed, the Ping command, which measures the amount of time the packet data takes to reach a desired host with a certain IP address. Apart from this, it has a very limited functionality, assuming you are constantly on the need to check devices on a comparatively larger network.
